Why classic applications fail
Many businesses are looking for skilled workers who are not actively job hunting. These people scroll through Instagram or Facebook in the evening, not job boards. When they tap an ad they often land on a form that wants a cover letter, a CV as PDF and ten required fields. On a phone, almost everyone drops off there.
A recruiting funnel turns this around: a few questions with answer tiles about experience, qualification, driving licence or preferred hours, then name and phone number. Done in a minute. The rest you clarify in a conversation.
What Meetovo is
Meetovo is a German builder for such funnels, hosted in the cloud. Its focus is recruiting, but it also works for customer enquiries. You build pages from questions, text and images that feel like an app on the phone, and run them through social media ads.
- Flexible. Templates for jobs and industries, your own questions, logic per answer.
- Integrations. Zapier and Make, Google Calendar, common CRM and applicant tracking systems, plus tracking for Meta, Google Tag Manager, LinkedIn and TikTok.
- Data protection. Data processing agreement, roles in the team and logging.
- Scalable. Several funnels and teams, for agencies under their own brand if needed.
Three typical use cases
| Who | Goal | What to watch |
|---|---|---|
| HR in mid-sized companies | More applications for hard-to-fill roles | Fast feedback to applicants, clear ownership in the team |
| Recruiting and ad agencies | Build and manage funnels for many clients | Own brand (white label) from the Expert plan, clean separation of clients |
| Small businesses and trades | Find apprentices and skilled staff without an HR department | Few questions, a quick call, optional SMS reminder (add-on) |
What Meetovo costs in 2026
Meetovo charges by plan and views. Net prices, as of November 2026 according to public pricing information:
| Plan | Monthly | Annual, per month | Views per month |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | €79 | €65 | 1,000 |
| Expert | €129 | €99 | 5,000 |
| Pro | €219 | €169 | 15,000 |
Important: once the view quota is used up, funnels are deactivated according to the provider until you top up or the next month starts. If a campaign goes well, it gets more expensive or goes quiet. The ad budget always comes on top. Check current terms and the trial with the provider.
Recruiting funnel in 6 steps
- Describe the audience. Who should apply, what matters to them: pay, proximity, working hours, team?
- Three to six questions with answer tiles on what really has to fit, such as qualification, driving licence, shift.
- Contact step with name, phone and consent. CV optional or later.
- Thank-you page saying what happens now: “We will call you within two days.”
- Ad with a real photo from the business and one clear sentence about the job.
- React fast. Wait two weeks and the applicant is gone.
What makes a good recruiting funnel
- Speak from the applicant's view. Not “We are looking for a committed employee” but what changes for them: fixed hours, short commute, fair pay, a good team.
- Questions that really separate. Only ask what decides on an interview. Clarify everything else on the phone.
- Thumb-friendly. Large tiles, no typing until the contact step, no required uploads.
- An honest thank-you page. Say who gets in touch and when, and stick to it.
- Measure. How many start, at which question do they drop off, how many get hired? Only the last number counts in the end.
Limits of Meetovo
- Running costs depending on views. Successful campaigns in particular hit the quota quickly.
- Data with the provider. Applicant data sits in Meetovo's cloud. To pass it to your team or applicant tracking system you need integrations.
- Your own website is left out. Funnels usually run on a separate address. If you want applicants via your WordPress careers page, you build twice.
Data protection for applicant data
Applicant data is particularly sensitive. Only ask what you need for the decision, state clearly in the consent what the data is used for, and delete rejected applications after a fixed period. You need a data processing agreement with every provider that processes the data. In Funnelforms you set for each form after how many days entries are deleted automatically.
The alternative in WordPress
If you have a WordPress website, you can build the same flow with Funnelforms, right on your careers page. The “Application” template asks for qualification, experience and start date, without an upload field, and is already included in Funnelforms Free. Free has no limits on forms and entries, so there is no view quota.
Every application lands in the table and board. With Funnelforms Pro you move it through your own stages, set status, tags, assignee and notes and see who has already been called. Pro also adds lead score, notifications via Slack, Teams, SMS or WhatsApp, appointment booking for the first interview and hand-over to your applicant tracking via webhook, Zapier or Make.
